Michelle is a Psychologist, graduated from the Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Psychology, at the Superior Institute of Applied Psychology (ISPA), Lisbon, Portugal. She has also graduated from the first Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree in the history of Dublin City University, and she has graduated from the Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy degree, at the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, Dublin, Ireland. Michelle is the third person in Ireland to have earned a Board Certification in Neurofeedback by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA).

Rahela is an Assistant Psychologist who worked at the Neurofeedback and Psychological services clinic: Actualise as a Research Assistant. She also worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Psychology in Maynooth University conducting a systematic review on the “Psychological After-effects of Limb Amputation”.
Rahela graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Psychology, with first class honours from Maynooth University. Rahela received the Carmel Staunton Prize for Best Final Year Project for, the highest score achieved in her research project entitled “Life after Sarcoma: A Qualitative Study Exploring the Challenges & Self-management in Sarcoma Survivorship”, and for the highest score achieved in her class. Her work was featured at the Psychology Health and Medicine Conference 2020 and published in its respective literature.
Rahela has also worked as a volunteer with Sunshine House (Society of St.Vincent de Paul, Ireland), working with children with a range of conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). She has also worked as a Support Volunteer at the Royal Hospital Donnybrook. She is currently completing her Masters of Science degree in Applied Psychology in Trinity College Dublin.

Laura Mc Namara

Laura Mc Namara is a Psychotherapist with expertise in issues relating to anxiety, depression, confidence, suicide (directly or indirectly), bereavement, and self-harm. She practices under the supervision of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP) and adheres to their code of ethics.
Laura holds an honours degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from IICP Tallaght, Dublin. She also holds a Diploma in Suicidology, a Postgraduate Certificate in CBT, and a Higher Diploma in Humanistic Counselling. Laura has spent years working on Pieta House’s Helpline and then moved to face-to-face Psychotherapy. Laura also has several years’ experience in the field of motivational weight loss and body image issues.
As a therapist, Laura maintains a person-centred approach in which she believes the client has the answers within themselves and the ability to take charge of themselves.
Laura feels her job is to facilitate the client through a difficult or challenging time in their life. Her aim is to help the client identify and define their real needs and to support and encourage them to attain and fulfill these needs. Laura believes that we are all unique and complex beings and she strives to understand her clients as individuals. Laura works with respect for each individual’s beliefs and values, aiming to offer the greatest opportunity for growth as well as change.
Laura is a member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
Dr. Michael Keane

NEUROSCIENCE ADVISOR & NEUROFEEDBACK EXPERT
Dr. Michael Keane is a Behavioural Neuroscientist, who is also the Founder and CEO of the Neurofeedback and Psychological services clinic: Actualise. He is one of the only Board Certified Neurofeedback Training provider in Ireland. He is also, a member of the Mental Health Advisory Board and Neuroscience Lead, of A Lust For Life. In addition, Dr. Keane is a reviewer of several academic journals, including Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, Neurobiology of Aging, and the Journal of Caffeine Research.
Dr. Keane was a lecturer in Psychology at Dublin City University. He obtained his PhD from the National University of Ireland, Galway, investigating the effects of caffeine on brain function, where he set up the university’s first two EEG labs. His post-doctoral research, which investigated EEG biomarkers of early onset Alzheimer’s Disease, was carried out between NUIG and the Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience, Dublin.
Dr. Keane is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and a Registered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
Dr. Sandra Mattos
M.D., PSURG., AMB, SBCP
She has more than forty years of experience working with patients. She has worked with patients within the Military and within Emergency, and she has performed plastic surgery within the fields of Reconstruction and Aesthetics.
Dr. Mattos obtained her Medical Degree at the University of Medicine of Vassouras, Rio de Janeiro, and she became specialized in Plastic Surgery by the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP). Her qualifications are: Systematization of Assistance to the Politraumatized, Ultrasound in Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Internal Medicine. She also underwent Clinical Training in the fields of Orthomolecular Medicine, Aged Skin, and Antibiotics.
Dr. Mattos is a member of the Brazilian Medical Association (AMB) and of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP).
PHYSICAL THERAPIST PARTNER
We have partnered up with Physical Therapist and Neuromuscular Therapist, Emlia Pawlak, who is the Founder and CEO of the Body Care Clinic.
At the Body Care Clinic, Emilia offers a wide range of massage treatments, some of which include: Relaxation, Neuromuscular Physical Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, and Pressotherapy. She also offers the opportunity for our clients to avail of Pranic Healing – a highly evolved, non- touch therapy, designed to heal a wide range of psychological and physical ailments.
Emilia sustains that, increasing our relaxation through massage results in a variety of positive psychological effects, due to the experience of increased levels of endorphin, serotonin, and dopamine, which in turn aid the relief of pain and stress.
Emilia is a member of the Association of Registered Complementary Health Therapists of Ireland (ARCHTI) and of the Neuromuscular Therapists Register (ANMPT).
