We're delighted to have had the opportunity to present our study at the Psychological Society of Ireland's Early Graduate Conference this morning.
Our ongoing study "Psychological Interventions for Individuals with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDDs): A Systematic Review" has been primarily inspired by the experiences of our clients and their need for personalized psychological treatments.
As clinicians we always try to adopt a person-centered approach in our practices by combining our clinical experience with the literature. Studies on NDDs and psychological interventions have increased in popularity and although that brings many advantages it also brings many disadvantages as it increases the ambiguity on effective psychological approaches. Our systematic review hopes to reduce that ambiguity for clients as well as clinicians.
Our study protocol has been published by National Institute for Health Research, PROSPRO. More information can be found using the following link or scanning the QR code on the poster.
