ADHD Assessment (Children) (IC and CA)

Service Description

This package includes: 4 to 6 consultations of 1 to 1 and ½ hours duration each. These may include discussion about developmental history, diagnostic interview, screening tools, assessments, and detailed recommendations, as appropriate. 1st Consultation: Psychological Intake Interview with the teenager and their caregivers regarding their background history, screening, and assessment questionnaires. 2nd Consultation: Cognitive assessment. 3rd Consultation: Cognitive assessment (cont.). 4th Consultation: First clinical Interview and clinical assessment with the teenager regarding their perspective and understanding about their interaction with their revolving world and life. 5th Consultation: Second clinical Interview and clinical assessment with the teenager regarding their perspective and understanding about their interaction with their revolving world and life. 6th Consultation: Feedback and Discussion about the Psychological Assessment’s Results and Report, and Clinical Interpretations and Recommendations, with the teenager and their caregivers. Cognitive Assessment It might be necessary to have a school observation of the teenager by the Clinician; however, this decision will depend on the understanding of the Clinician during the first consultation Clinical Psychology Report, including Clinical Interpretations and Feedback regarding the teenager’s profile of strengths and experiences in relation to the outcome of their Psychological Assessment’s Results, and detailed Recommendations for the teenager, their family, and the professionals involved in their Educational and Healthcare Systems PLEASE NOTE: Since our professionals involved in this service are Psychologists and not Medical Practitioners, we will not be able to prescribe or advise on psychiatric medication for you or your child/adolescent.
